Dr. Kaplan believes that everyone should do what he can to better society. Dr. Kaplan volunteers medical services to the non-profit organization Children Of The Night, based in the San Fernando Valley. Many of these children, after having escaped a life on the streets, still have tattoos which are depressing reminders of a difficult period in their lives. Dr. Kaplan removes the tattoos at no charge.
